Embalming Room

It's another view of a room which is now supposed to be designed much smaller than before to create better air handling and purification. You might not know that funeral homes are required to conduct tests of the air in this room, seal the docimeter device and send the device to a testing lab to assure that workers are not exposed to unsafe levels of formaldehyde. If a funeral home exceeds the standard there are penalties and additional safety precautions required. The vent visible in the lower portion is the intake to assure that any dangerous fumes or noxious odors are drawn DOWN away from the technician.
