Your Questions

I JUST READ YOUR ANSWER ABOUT EMBALMING AND AIDS CASES. YOU STATED ABOUT ORGANS AND VISCERA. WHAT IS VISCERA?
Viscera is the bodily organs occupying the great cavities, most often referring to the stomach and intestines. These are large organs which fill a large portion of the trunk area. All of these organs are replaced into the remains after the pathologist removes them for examination in an autopsy. These organs would remain in place, undisturbed in a regular embalming. Sorry for the delay...still teaching in San Francisco. One more week.
