Your Questions

Hi. How does a person preparing a body that has died due to say a car accident or some other disfiguring way, make them look so good and natural?
Well, each case is different. Part of the result is skill, part talent. Restorative Art is one of the most important classes in mortuary science. However, what makes that work is the interlocking knowledge of Anatomy and Embalming. It's very hard to do any kind of restorative work on tissue that has not been firmed by embalming so that's the start. If you don't understand anatomy, you're doomed. Finally, the biggest part of any reconstruction is the willingness to TRY. There are a few "tricks" but most of it is academic training and then actually doing it.
